DRIVING - HOW TO FIND TRAFALGAR HOUSE
THE DIRECT ROUTE (all traffic and no views): Follow the A380 from Exeter (watch for Torquay signs at the end of the M5 Motorway). On entering the Torquay area watch for the first sign at Torre Station marked 'SEAFRONT' and 'RIVIERA CENTRE'. Take the right traffic light filter into Avenue Road. After 100 metres take the first turning on the left into Cleveland Road. Follow Cleveland Road passing over an intersection and then watch for Trafalgar House on the right after 300 metres.
OR FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY A LOVELY SCENIC RIDE (all views and less traffic) (and this takes about the same length of time) follow the A380 from EXETER (watch for TORQUAY signs at the end of the M5 Motorway). After about 12km take a turning on the left B3192 marked TEIGNMOUTH and SHALDON. Follow the signs for TORQUAY and enjoy some spectacular views and nice scenery. After about 15km as you approach ST MARY CHURCH follow the signs marked HARBOUR and SEAFRONT. At the Harbour follow round to the right around the CLOCK TOWER and then follow the signs for PAIGNTON. As you drive along the seafront with the gardens on your left watch for a traffic light filter to the right by the Belgrave Hotel. Turn right into BELGRAVE ROAD and follow this for about 300 metres. Go straight past one set of traffic lights then take the first turning on the left marked BAMFYLDE ROAD. Then take the first turning on the right, this is BRIDGE ROAD. Trafalgar House is the last property on the left at the far end.
