About Trafalgar House.

		The Resident Proprietors, Ian and Annette Gay are always on hand to provide you with a warm welcome and to look after your every need. They have both travelled a great deal and Annette is fluent in Scandinavian languages, German and un petit Franglais! The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and warm. Your comfort and enjoyment is the first priority. Annette is from Copenhagen with a Danish and Swedish upbringing. She has bought to Trafalar House plenty of Danish 'Hygge' (a unique Scandinavian style of warmth and cosiness). Annette attended a Torbay Language School in 1965 then she trained and qualified as a nurse in London before returning to Copenhagen where she followed a career as a Senior Perfusionist for many years. She has a great interest in food and cooking. Ian grew up in Torbay in a family hotel which he helped to run. He brings to Trafalgar House a combination of very traditional English atmosphere and a laid back Australian style. He has returned from Australia where he has been living and working as a Chartered Accountant for 25 years. The breakfast menu includes an exceptional freshly prepared English & Continental breakfast, made from the finest produce with variety & choice

Trafalar House is set in its own sub-tropical gardens with palm trees and a rich variety of plants and shrubs. There is also a sun-terrace for the use of guests.

Trafalgar House has 10 Guest Bedrooms, all of which have Ensuite Bathrooms with shower, wash hand basin and toilet. In every room there is a Colour TV, Radio / Alarm, Hairdryer and Tea / Coffee making facilities. Ironing facilities are also available. All rooms are tastefully decorated with co-ordinated fabrics.

• 6 Double Bedrooms - 2 with four poster beds
• 2 Twin Bedrooms
• 2 Master Bedrooms which offer greater space and comfort, with a higher standard of furnishings & facilities - One with a double and a single bed the other with twin beds and 2 single beds (these rooms are also available as double or twin accommodation)
